Kait talks about ghosting, how to handle it, and why we should not do it.
How You Turn Someone Down
What to Say When You Are Turning Someone Down
How to Handle Ghosting
First, you DON’T need to know if that person is your spouse! Don’t put so much pressure on it!
Second, you DON’T have to be crazy attracted to them to say yes to a date!
SAY YES MORE! Be more open.
Keep your dates short, 90 minutes is the sweet spot. ALSO, try to give it at least 3 dates before deciding if it’s a yes or no. Of course, there are exceptions to this, but for the most part try to give it more than one date.
Be clear, honest, and intentional in your words in the way you turn someone down. Try to do this in person if you can, if not at least do a phone call.
You also can still be friends with that person and it doesn’t have to be awkward!
Never ghost someone, just don’t do it!!
Ghosting is closely tied to that person’s emotional maturity…whew. AND it’s much more about THEM than it is about YOU.
Ghosting isn’t respectful or honoring, we have to get better at this. Leave people better than you found them!
