Mini Man-sode 09: When to Walk Away

with

Kait and JJ Tomlin

Join JJ and Kait as they address the topic we don’t hear about much, when it’s time for a man to walk away.

Let’s talk to the men.

  • What I am saying is when to depart from supporting them as a romantic partner to supporting them as a friend and giving them the space to heal, prepare and be single.

When to walk away from her

  • Abusive Women: Abuse happens on the side of women as well. An abusive woman spiritually, emotionally, physically… this is not a question of when.. It is a question of why have you not? What is keeping you? This needs to have happened yesterday. This is really not talked about and what we say here a lot of times is this.. We understand why it is done, what the trigger was and how it happened but we do not accept the reactions as OK.
  • Emotionally immature women: This has a lot similarities to the men, but I again I think it is important to address. Because of the pursuer role we recommend with men, we totally see lots of initiation from men on the planning, dates, and conversation. This is GOOD. However, I do think some symptoms of emotional immature women are very much at hand.. Here is what Kait would highlight as emotionally immature signs that at some point you must identify to walk away from:
  • Spiritually immature women: This is quite interesting and largely not spoken about, which makes sense because sincerely we hear about poor spiritual headship.

The final guidance we have here

  • The most important guidance we can give beyond the practical, the examples, the red flags is this…do you have true peace on all fronts??
  • Here are two things for you to know…1) Where the Spirit of the Lord is and where HIS will is, there is peace. If there is not peace, peace that surpasses knowledge, peace in your core. It’s time to walk away. More importantly.. If there is an absence of peace, an abscence of peace that for the life of your being you can not put your finger on, it’s time to walk away. 2) The triangle of peace… you ready? Internal peace.. What we just talked about. Partner peace.. Meaning peace with them. Counsel peace… peace with your…COUNSEL. God speaks through the counsel of many in Proverbs (16 times!!).
